A private training area is utilized by our qualified trainers to give you the attention you deserve and to allow for you to focus on your individual workout without interruption. In this area we have a variety of alternative resistance methods that we use to support you in reaching your goals.
In addition to our Cardiovascular and Strength Training Equipment, we offer a variety of group training classes and incentive programs to our members throughout the year.

She began as a high school athlete and became a sedentary mother of two, but now she is in the best shape of her life! She is enthusiastic about motivating others to reach their goals and live a healthier lifestyle. Midge has been certified as an ACE Personal Trainer for over nine years. Tee Jay Edwards Tee Jay has over ten years of boxing experience. He has earned two Golden Gloves, two Silver Gloves and three State Championships. He will combine his personal training knowledge and boxing secrets to help you reach your fitness goals. Jessica Walker AFPA Certified Personal Trainer Jessica has worked in the fitness industry for 15 years, 12 of which have been at MAC. She has instructed group fitness classes for eight years and strives to make the workout fun while focusing on safety and proper technique. Jessica believes the best feeling is knowing she has helped someone reach a healthier and happier life with the benefits of fitness. Kristen Whitlow Kristen is a competitive runner with a passion for fitness. She looks forward to working with clients of all ages and fitness levels. She loves to motivate others to improve their bodies, health and lives. She will help you reach your fitness goals. Vivian Karanikola Vivian grew up in Greece as a track and field athlete. She was trained and certified as a Spin instructor in the UK through the Johnny G original Spinning program, offered by MAD DOGG ATHLETICS. Vivian was certified here in the U.S. as a STAR 3 Spinning Instructor, allowing her to train others to become spinning instructors. She is a US Air Force Certified Fitness Specialist, a recognition reserved for individuals who have demonstrated competency in designing and delivering individual and group fitness programs. As an Exercise Military Leader, Vivian has assisted a number of active duty members to pass their fitness assessments. She believes in a healthy lifestyle, good nutrition, hydration, exercise and rest are the basics to maintain a “healthy mind in a healthy body,” as her Greek ancestors believed. Vivian is excited to meet you and help you reach your goals and achieve all of your dreams. R. Carson Fralin AFPA Certified Personal Trainer Carson has been training athletes, mothers, and the occasional fitness buffs for over four years. He was taught, and learned most of what he knows from four exceptional trainers. The rest he learned on his own through playing sports . He has been playing sports since he was five and has won awards in soccer, swimming, baseball, and basketball as well as his high school favorites; football (leadership & county awards), wrestling (3 tournament awards) and lacrosse. He joined the Marines at the Citadel as a chemistry major in bio-weaponry. through his military training he became a well disciplined leader with an unbreakable spirit that never quits. He is now in his second year at VCU as a Physical Therapy major. He has a voice that drives others, as well as himself, to not just achieve goals, but to set them higher and welcome the challenges that follow with a confident smile. Taylor Williams A Richmond native, Taylor has always had a love of fitness but while enrolled at the College of William and Mary she took a closer look at her personal relationship with food and fitness, igniting a passion for personal training and nutrition. Gaining a lot of her knowledge from personal experience with some remarkable trainers she decided to take it one step further and pursue a degree as a nutritionist. Currently enrolled at Virginia State University as a post- Baccalaureate student in a certified nutrition program she hopes to provide individuals with the motivation and tools they need to surpass their goals and lead a fit and healthy lifestyle. Tracy Brooks Tracey Brooks is a Virginia native who earned her certification through Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). In addition, she was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Tracey is also a certified group exercise instructor through AFAA. She teaches a variety of group exercise classes. These include Spin, Body Pump, Aquatics, TRX Group Suspension, Cx Worx, Silver Sneakers, Yoga, Boot Camp, GRIT, Zumba, Zumba Gold and Aqua Zumba. Tracey is a great motivator and exudes a high level of energy to help you achieve your fitness goals.
