From aquatics to strength training, we strive to provide an assortment of workout classes everyone will enjoy. Youth members ages nine to 12 are welcome to participate in our group workout classes along with a parent. Members ages 13-15 may take fitness classes independently with a parent on the premises. Teenagers 16 and up are invited to participate in exercise classes with no restrictions. For indoor cycling classes in our Spinning® studio, participants need to be at least five feet tall in order to use the Spinner® bike safely.
MAC class attendance policy states that group exercise classes must maintain an average attendance of at least 10 participants. Classes which fail to meet the attendance policy are subject to a format change, instructor change, or a cancellation.
Please note: the group exercise schedule may change due to inclement weather or to holidays. If Chesterfield County Public Schools operate on a two hour delay, all morning classes are canceled, and afternoon classes will proceed as scheduled. If Chesterfield County Public Schools close for the day, then all classes are canceled for the entire day. On most of the weather cancellations, our group exercise manager assesses the travel conditions and works to provide a few workout classes.
