It leads to an improvement in posture, and in promoting a light and graceful body. Yoga postures systematically stretch every muscle in the body. By holding the posture gently after the stretch without forcing the muscles, the fibers will be lengthened naturally and become more elastic.

In general, yoga leads to good health .Organs and muscles are invigorated and receive a fresh supply of blood, and waste products are then drained. This leads to a stronger immune system, normal weight loss, improved muscle tone, and smooth skin complexion with bright and sparkling eyes.

Keeping the mind concentrated during practice of the postures, helps to unify the divergent energies of the mind. It quiets the compulsive activity of the mind. Our mind will become relaxed and tend to function in a clearer and more effective manner. Because yoga brings deep relaxation, we begin to let go of emotional tension and negative thoughts easier.
