Strength Coach (NSCA-C.S.C.S.)
Olympic Weightlifting Coach (AFPA)
Are you interested in learning/progressing the Olympic lifts or want to join a strength and conditioning class centered on weightlifting? Whether you are new to weightlifting or if you want to compete in weightlifting, this strength training class is perfect for you. This class is not like classes you’ve experienced previously. In this setting, you are getting access to a coach, which means you get to focus on any individualized weightlifting goals you set. Weightlifters, powerlifters, anyone who wants to get stronger and improve their technique, may join this strength training class.
Class is an hour and fifteen minutes in duration, so as to accommodate a comprehensive training program. Dynamic warm up, stretching, and specific supplemental work is prescribed in this class, so nothing is generic! Get stronger, compete better, and move well.
Sign in when you show up to class, after you purchase your pass either at the front desk.
*NOTE: You can use your pass for either class (MAC Barbell or Barbell 101)*
101 is a lecture/training type of format. 101 class is focused on education on how to use the new strength and conditioning equipment, or if someone doesn’t feel quite ready for MAC Barbell. Participants can bring a notebook and expect to learn how to work on strength and will be instructed on using correct technique with strength exercises.
