From an early age, Allison fell in love with sports, dance and athletics, along with the community that accompanies these endeavors. Allison’s desire to inspire others to be active, along with her love for the biological sciences and the study of human movement translated into the pursuit of a degree in Health and Physical Education from VCU and her subsequent credentialing as a Certified Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine. Allison has enjoyed a career in the Fitness Industry since 2004 and has taught a variety of group exercise classes since that time. In addition to American College of Sports Medicine certification, Allison holds indoor cycling certifications from both Mad Dogg Spinning and Schwinn. She is also a certified Yoga instructor and holds additional specialty certifications in Pilates, TRX, Kickboxing, BARRE, Body Combat and CXWORX. Outside of work, Allison enjoys music and family and whenever possible, surfing with her husband and their two sons.
