Leo has been practicing yoga for many years. From the first class, Leo knew he wanted to teach yoga. From that point on, he began collecting and reading every book he could get, especially those with an anatomy focus, to better understand how to practice safely and teach yoga within the limits of our own bodies. He began his teaching journey in 2011 with local classes on alignment principles, moved into Yoga Fit Level 1 and 2 classes and ultimately joined Glenmore Yoga’s 200-hour training and earned his 200-hour certification in 2013. Bringing body awareness and bridging the mind-body connection in a safe and friendly environment is central to his approach to classes that range from a gentle, meditative class to heat and strength building formats.
